Chrome Extension Privacy Policy
The JedIN extension puts our product specialists one click away, by voice or text. Here is plainly what it collects, why, who receives it and how to erase it.
What the extension does NOT do
It does not read the content of the pages you visit. It does not collect passwords, form data, cookies or banking details. It does not record audio: your voice streams live to the conversation service and is not stored. It does not sell or share your data with third parties. And it collects nothing before you choose, on the consent screen shown on first run.
Conversation context (only with your consent)
The page you were on when you talked to the mascot (address and title), which mascot, date and time, duration, whether it was voice or text, and the conversation content you wrote or spoke. It helps the team understand your case before getting back to you.
Session browsing (separate consent, off by default)
Available only in the build distributed directly by JedIN. It records the sites you pass through while the mascots are active, stored by domain only, never the full page address. Turn the mascots off and it stops immediately.
Microphone
The microphone opens only when you press the voice button and closes when you end the call. Audio streams straight to the voice service that produces the answer; the extension stores no recording.
Where the data goes
To JedIN servers and from there to the JedIN sales team, always over an encrypted connection. To generate the assistant answers, conversation text and audio are processed by an AI provider contracted by JedIN, acting solely as a processor.
How long it is kept
Context and browsing data are deleted automatically after 90 days. Contact details you volunteer are treated as a sales enquiry and kept while that relationship exists.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent on the same screen where you gave it, erase what was collected with the erase-my-data button, and request confirmation, access, correction or deletion at wsantana@jedicrm.com.br.
